A Twitter Podcast Contest
Okay, is it just me or do you ever have slogans running around in your head? You know those great snippets of ideas that you get when you’re usually nowhere near a pen and paper? Half the time I don’t even have a product or service they apply to…yet. LOL
Now is your time to put those winning ideas to good use. Some of you might need to put a small notepad and pen beside your bed (I always have the best ideas when I first wake up in the morning). Others might need to use a dry erase marker in the shower…not to write on yourself, silly, to write on the shower glass. Some cell phones can record an audio so speak your ideas for later sending. Use whatever works for you.
Here is your task: Podcast Secrets 2009 is running a contest. They are looking for a top ten list for why you would want to take their podcast course. Submit your ideas in 140 characters or less (as that is all that Twitter allows). You need to put @podcastsecrets and #pcs somewhere in the tweet. Hey, while you on Twitter follow me at WendyMerritt.
Here is what you get if you win: everyone who makes the top ten gets a link to their Twitter ID in a lot of different postings. They will let you know the results when they’re done. Not just the “who won” bit – but was it worth the $500 in iPod purchases.
